Kyoto Conference Program Overview Finalized: Discussions on Values, Humanity, and AI

The program overview for the 1st Kyoto Conference has been finalized, to be held by the Kyoto Institute of Philosophy on September 23-24 at the Kyoto International Conference Center in Kyoto City. Professor Yasuo Deguchi of Kyoto University, who serves as Co-chairperson of the institute, and Professor Markus Gabriel of the University of Bonn in Germany, who also serves as the institute's Senior Global Advisor, will deliver keynote speeches. Additionally, world-renowned philosophers and industry leaders will gather for panel discussions on themes such as "The Multi-layered Nature of Values" and "AI and Human Existence." The event expects over 500 participants throughout the two-day period, with a welcome reception scheduled for the evening of September 22.
