Prof. Deguchi, TV host hold lively discussion on ‘AI and Philosophy’
Professor Yasuo Deguchi of Kyoto University, who serves as the Co-Chairperson of the Kyoto Institute of Philosophy, will appear on the BS TV Tokyo talk show "Yoshio Ichiryu Asks: The Future of Japan." The first part is scheduled to air on Saturday, September 6th, from 9:00 AM, and the second part on Saturday, September 20th, from 9:00 AM.

The talk will focus on the theme of "AI and Philosophy." In an era where AI is rapidly advancing and companies worldwide are competing to leverage its capabilities, why has philosophy come into the spotlight? How should humans engage with AI in the future? Mr. Ichiryu, a management consultant and the program's host, and guest Professor Deguchi will engage in a candid discussion.
Originally planned as recording for a single 30-minute program, the conversation between the two flowed so well that it was decided to split it into two parts, to be broadcast separately. We hope you will tune in.
